My Kite
My kite is red with a long blue tail,
It tugs the string like a boat with a sail.
I run across the windy hill,
And up it climbs, it won't stay still! It dips and dives, it spins around,
It almost brushes on the ground.
Then whoosh! A gust comes rushing by
And sweeps it back up to the sky.It flies above the tallest tree,
Like a bird that's wild and free.
I hold on tight and laugh out loud,
My kite is talking to a cloud! The wind slows down, the sun sinks low,
My kite comes floating down below.
I wind the string up, nice and tight—
I can't wait for tomorrow's flight! What is this poem mostly about?
