Read aloud: The school bus has stopped and put out its red sign. Point to the part of you that should stay still now.
The light is red for people. Point to what you use.
Read aloud: At the crossing the little light is red, so nobody may walk yet. Point to the part of you that watches for it to change.
A warning about something hot. Point to that thing.
Read aloud: A yellow warning sign is on the door of the kitchen because something in there is hot enough to burn. Point to it.
No entry on the gate. Point to what stays shut.
Read aloud: The no entry sign is on the gate at the end of the yard. Point to the thing that has to stay shut.
The alarm goes. Point to what you leave behind.
Read aloud: The alarm is ringing and everybody must go outside straight away. Point to the thing you leave exactly where it is.
The sign shows people, not words. Point to why.
Read aloud: The crossing sign uses a picture of people instead of writing. Point to the part of you it is drawn for.
