Agreement

These terms apply when you use PencilGo websites, Online, printable workbooks, learner profiles, class tools, school tools, and support forms. By using PencilGo, you agree to these terms for yourself and for any organization or child learner you are authorized to manage.

PencilGo is operated by Adroit Consulting Services LLC, doing business as PencilGo, in Woodstock, Georgia.

Who may use PencilGo

PencilGo accounts are for adults: parents, guardians, teachers, tutors, school administrators, and other authorized education helpers. Children use PencilGo through learner profiles, class codes, QR codes, or device access managed by an adult. Children do not need personal email accounts to use learner pages.

Learner records and school records

PencilGo stores child and student names or nicknames, grade levels, preferences, class membership, assigned work, answers, scores, completion status, skipped work, progress, timestamps, and paper-result entries. We use those records to provide practice, check work, keep history, show progress, support users, secure the service, and operate accounts.

Parents and guardians can see records for children they manage. Teachers and authorized school staff can see names, grades, class placement, assignments, work, and progress for students their class or school manages. Children can see their own learner card, assignments, feedback, and in some class sign-in flows, classmates' display names needed to choose the right card.

School responsibilities

If a school uses PencilGo, the school is responsible for deciding which students and staff may use the service, obtaining any required parent notices or permissions, keeping class access current, and asking PencilGo to remove records when the school no longer needs them. School staff must use PencilGo only for educational purposes and only for students they are authorized to support.

Acceptable use

  • Do not upload, type, or request content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, or unrelated to learning support.
  • Do not share class codes, direct learner links, or account access with people who should not see student information.
  • Do not try to bypass security, scrape the service, interfere with availability, or use PencilGo to build a competing learner database.
  • Do not put unnecessary sensitive child details in free-text notes or support messages.

Content and workbooks

PencilGo provides online practice and printable educational materials. Adults are responsible for deciding whether a worksheet, assignment, grade level, or plan is appropriate for a particular child, class, or school. Purchased or downloaded workbooks may be used for the household, classroom, or school scope shown at checkout or on the product page.

Payments and plan changes

Free practice costs $0. Online costs $24.99 per child per year, which is about $2 a month. Online + Printed Workbook costs $99 per child per year and includes Online access for that child plus one annual grade-specific workbook, mailed in one shipment with standard contiguous-US shipping included. Applicable taxes and renewal terms are shown before payment. Direct Online family upgrades cover all active child profiles at $24.99 each. Printed orders are arranged by request; we confirm grade, delivery, and payment details before an order is placed.

Refunds, cancellations, and ESA orders

Our refund and return policy explains request deadlines, book returns, payment routes, and cancellation. Canceling Online stops future renewal. ESA purchases require provider and product approval and the program’s authorized payment route; direct purchases do not guarantee reimbursement. The same published product prices apply to direct and ESA buyers.

Removed records, retention, and deletion

When an adult, teacher, or school removes a learner, student, class, or school record, PencilGo hides the removed record from normal learner use and keeps it for two years. After the two-year retention period, the removed record is scheduled for permanent deletion unless a legal requirement requires a different result.

Archiving does not prevent an earlier permanent-deletion request. Account settings provide an immediate account-deletion option, or a scheduled option for eligible paid accounts. Some order records may remain for receipts, refunds, and legal obligations. A parent, guardian, or authorized school contact can request deletion through the contact form. We may verify the requester, and school-managed records may require school approval or routing through the school's process.

Availability and changes

PencilGo may update features, correct content, suspend accounts that create security or privacy risk, and change these terms. When a change materially affects an adult account, child learner, or school record, PencilGo will provide notice through the product, email, or another reasonable method.
