How to use these worksheets

1. Read the letter’s name and sound aloud together, then point to the letter character.
2. Trace the solid model letter with a finger first, starting at the green dot and following the arrow.
3. Trace the dotted letters with a pencil or crayon. Go slowly; neat beats fast.
4. Say each picture’s name aloud and listen for the first sound before circling.
5. Keep sessions short. One letter a day, five to ten minutes, is plenty for a four- or five-year-old.
