About this worksheet

The year has four seasons: winter, spring, summer and fall. Each one has its own weather and its own things to see and do. Winter is cold, with snow in many places, and children wear coats, scarves and mittens. In spring the weather turns warmer and new flowers and sprouts push up. Summer is hot and sunny, a time for the beach, sunglasses and ice cream.

In fall the days cool down and nuts such as acorns drop from the trees. On this page each question names one season and shows a few pictures, and the child circles the picture that goes with that season. The other pictures belong to other seasons. Look out of the window afterwards: which season is it now, and how can you tell?

What your child will learn
