Weather changes from day to day, but a record can reveal patterns that memory misses. Kindergartners may describe only today’s sky or assume that one rainy morning means the whole week was rainy. This worksheet uses two visual records: picture rows that count observed weather days and repeating strips that show conditions in order. Children identify the most or least common condition, compare two counts, and complete a visible sequence. Support pages use strong differences and simple alternating patterns. Challenge pages use closer counts or three-part repeats, requiring more careful observation without asking children to make an unsupported forecast. A weather symbol represents the main condition recorded at one observation time; real days can include sun, wind, and clouds together. Point to each row or pattern place as your child explains the answer. The important science practice is using the record as evidence, not guessing from a favorite kind of weather or from what is happening outside right now.
