Preschool Science Worksheet

Circle the answer that goes with the word shown.
winter
spring
summer
fall

The year is made of four seasons, and each has its own sights: snowflakes and mittens in winter, flowers and new sprouts in spring, sunshine and ice cream in summer, acorns and apples in fall. This page names one season in each box and shows three pictures, and the child circles the one that goes with that season. The wrong pictures always belong to a different season, so there is only one right answer.
Use it to talk about the weather outside right now and what comes next. Which season are we in? What do we wear? What do we see? Many families remember seasons by the things they do each year, and that is the best way to learn: pick apples in fall, build a snowman in winter, and plant a seed in spring.

The box says winter. The pictures are a sun, a snowman and an ice cream. A snowman belongs to winter, so circle the snowman.
Choosing the picture the child likes best. Ask what the weather is like in that season.
Think about the weather: cold and snow, warm and sunny, new plants or falling leaves.
