Knowing the alphabet song is a useful beginning, but alphabet order means finding what comes before, after, or between without always restarting at A. Kindergartners often remember the sequence only as one long chant, which makes a missing middle letter surprisingly difficult. This worksheet breaks the alphabet into small local groups. Children complete a next-letter pattern, supply a letter between two neighbors, select the correctly ordered group, and fill a gap in a four-letter run. Support pages stay in the earlier, more familiar half of the alphabet. Standard pages move farther along, while challenge pages use later letters where the song is less secure. Watch whether your child begins singing from A for every item. That is acceptable at first, but encourage starting from the visible letter and moving only one step. Letter boxes keep direction and position clear on both screen and paper.
