About this worksheet
To round a number to the nearest ten, look at the digit just to the right of the tens place: 5 or more rounds up and 4 or less stays, and every digit after the tens place becomes a zero. On this fifth grade sheet a child rounds eighteen large numbers to the nearest ten, writing each answer on the line after the arrow.
Some numbers sit right on the line, such as ones that end in 5, because those test the rule. Each version has different numbers, and the answer key gives each rounded number.
