About this worksheet
Fractions of a set ask students to apply fraction language to groups of objects rather than only to parts of one shape. Third graders may know that one fourth means one out of four equal parts, but they may count one object instead of one equal group when a set has many objects. This worksheet uses object sets and equal group reasoning.
