In your program account, submit the quote or invoice for payment and look for the vendor name PencilGo. Check that your program accepts the chosen plan and follow its current instructions.

Your program decides whether to approve the expense and pay PencilGo through ClassWallet. Once payment is confirmed we'll arrange online access and any printed workbook shipment.

Questions parents ask about ESA worksheets
Can I buy worksheets and printables with ESA funds?
Yes in 17 of 18 programs: curriculum, workbooks and printable worksheets are among the most widely covered ESA expenses. Arizona attach a condition, usually that the item comes from an approved provider or through the program's platform. The table above shows each program's rule with its source.
Are printable worksheets an eligible ESA expense, or only printed books?
Programs describe the category as curriculum, textbooks and instructional materials, which covers printable worksheet subscriptions as well as printed workbooks, as long as the purchase serves the named student and goes through the program's payment route. A few programs limit consumables such as paper and ink; the worksheets themselves are the instructional material.
Can I buy a printed workbook with my ESA?
Printed workbooks are instructional materials in every program that covers curriculum. PencilGo's Online + Printed Workbook plan is $99 per child per year and includes one mailed annual workbook. In West Virginia both PencilGo plans are approved Hope Scholarship offerings. In Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, New Hampshire, request an invoice and submit it through ClassWallet DirectPay.
Do free worksheets count as an ESA purchase?
No. Free worksheets cost nothing, so there is nothing to submit to the program, and you can print as many as you like without touching the account. ESA funds pay for the paid plans: online practice with checked work and parent reports, or the printed workbook.
How do I pay PencilGo with ClassWallet or Odyssey?
In Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, New Hampshire, ask PencilGo for an invoice with your child's grade and plan, then submit it in ClassWallet DirectPay under the vendor name PencilGo; the program reviews and pays. In Odyssey states (Georgia, Louisiana, Utah, Wyoming) PencilGo is provider approved and its offerings are listed for review; check the offering in the marketplace before buying. What is the difference between worksheets, printables and curriculum for ESA purposes?
Nothing that the programs distinguish. Their rules name curriculum, textbooks, workbooks and instructional or supplemental materials; printable worksheets, printables and workbooks all fall inside that category. What matters is that the item is instructional, serves the student on the account, and is bought through the route the program names.
Before using ESA funds. Provider approval or a marketplace listing does not approve every product or confirm that a funded purchase can be made.
