Knowing the days of the week and the months of the year, in order, is how first graders learn to talk about time on a calendar. On this grade 1 worksheet each line shows three days or months in a row with one missing, such as Monday, ____, Wednesday, and your child writes the missing word.
Support sheets use days of the week only, standard sheets mix days and months, and challenge sheets use mostly months, including the ones that wrap round from December to January. Say the whole list out loud together first, then fill in the gaps. A wall calendar is a great helper.
