About this worksheet

A schedule lists what happens and when, such as a school day, a field trip or a party. Reading one is real-life use of time. A child finds the time something begins, finds what begins at a given time, works out how long something lasts by counting from one start time to the next, and finds how much time passes between two activities. This topic has all four, and each worksheet practices one: version 1 asks the time each activity begins, version 2 asks which activity begins at a time, version 3 asks how many minutes each activity lasts, and version 4 asks how many minutes pass between two activities; versions 5 and 6 repeat the first two with new schedules.

The schedule is printed once at the top, and each of the three levels reads a different schedule. Ask your child to put a finger on the row before writing.
