About this worksheet

Kindness is a choice. A kind child notices when a friend is sad, helps someone who falls, shares a snack, waits for a turn and says hello to a child who is alone. These small choices make a classroom and a home feel safe, and children feel happier when they are kind. On this page each question tells a short thing that happens to a friend, such as dropping crayons or waiting for the swing, and gives a few things the child could do.

The child circles the kind one. The other choices are unkind, and are written plainly so the child can tell the difference. Read each question aloud and ask how the friend would feel. After the page, make a list together of kind things to do this week and tick them off.

What your child will learn
